  I apologize in advance for the lack of euphemisms in this review, but I am just going to tell like it is. My wife and I recently used Cumby to cremate my mother-in-law and have a small service. I must admit that we had a very small budget. After we met with Andrew to go over the various services that are offered and signed the contract, Cumby took care of everything. Cumby picked up the body from the hospital, wrote and published an obituary, and passed the required information to the county so that a death certificate could be issued.
  
  Cumby even sent one of their employees to a local group home to have my mother-in-law's separated spouse sign the cremation approval forms (we discovered that NC law requires that the spouse, even if separated, needs to approve the cremation). Cumby also had an in-house reverend who was able to write and present an excellent 30 minute service with very limited information on my mother-in-law's background, interests, and hobbies. We did not purchase an urn for the remains as we scattered the ashes, but Cumby offered to let us borrow an urn for the service.
  
  All of this was done professionally and respectfully. We signed the contract on a Friday and had the service and cremation completed on Monday. I would recommend Cumby to anyone in the Highpoint area.

  Took 8 days to cremate my wife's grandfather and they had claimed it'd take 24 hours. Tried to overcharge and up sell. Posted the obituary in the wrong news paper. Never initiates any communication and always claims there's a miscommunication. Use at your own risk.
